R9000 - DHCP Disable

Firmware Version 1.0.1.36

After a successful reset to factory defaults and install, when I disable the DHCP server the router can no longer be accessed from a browser on the configured IP address. I have repeated this procedure multiple times, each time with the same result. To get the router working again, I need to reset to factor defaults and repeat the installation.

Re: R9000 - DHCP Disable

Before you disable DHCP, give the router an IP address..

Re: R9000 - DHCP Disable

I have/had already given a static LAN IP.

Re: R9000 - DHCP Disable

What is replacing the router as a DHCP Server? Is the ip address you have given the 9000 in the same subnet as your DHCP Server?

Re: R9000 - DHCP Disable

I have a seperate DNS/DHCP server. Both are on the same subnet. The LAN IP on the R9000 is static (same subnet), and even the WAN IP is static (different subnet).

Re: R9000 - DHCP Disable

How is the R9000 connected to the network? Which port is being used? Using the LAN port?

Re: R9000 - DHCP Disable

The R9000 is connected to the local network through LAN port 3.

Re: R9000 - DHCP Disable

That's strange. I do not experience the issue with the R9000 that I have.

I suggest that you contact support and log a case.
