R9000 READYSHARE FILE CORRUPTION
I constantly encounter file corruption when copying files from my Windows 10 PC to the USB drive on my R9000 router using the READYSHARE mapped drive. Contrarily it appears if I copy the same files via FTP they transfer without errors.
This tends to occur with larger video files ranging from 4 to 32 GB.
The copied files show the same size as the original, but when I copy the files back to the original drive on the PC under a different name and do a binary file compare, errors are found.
I am not looking for super fast file copy speeds to the USB drive on my router; I just want file copy without error.
I have tried different USB drives and different file systems on the drives and the results are the same.
If there are some configurations options in the Router setup I could try to eliminate copy errors using the Readyshare mapped drive as the target, please advise.
My R9000 Router has the latest firmware 1.0.5.26. All Network Switches are Netgear models/
