Should the hardware warranty be obsolete (why ever), you can consider these standard universal notebook power supplies19 V, rated for 60 or 65W at least - these are much easier to get than specific power supplies, the prices came down massively the last year or so.

Call support for replacement if within warranty.
The adapter same as the R8500. Have you tried ebay or google the part number.?

You can purchase power adapter with the same specs for your R9000. Check the Input and Output specs of the current adapter.
