Re: R9000

fw ver: V1.0.4.12

Problem exists with Join/Connect action when adding devices to the main private wireless networks, 2.4G and 5G.  This problem is not experienced with wireless Guest networks, nor Ethernet.

Some devices report only "connection failure" or "failure".  IOS devices report "Incorrect password" for "<SSID>".

Knowing a little something about code, string manipulation, led me to try preceding the correct password string with a space character (when entering the log-on/connection info on the device I was attempting to add to the network).  Suddenly connection was successful!

I was able to duplicate/repeat this behavior several times.

Therefore I conclude that the first character of the password string is being dropped somewhere in code error.
