RE: Nighthawk R7450 consistently dropping wifi

I am not sure where else to turn. My Nighthawk R7450 has been dropping wifi consistently for months. It almost happens like clockwork twice a day for about two minutes. Feels like it happens when too many devices are being used (which is usually around 3 actively using wifi, iPad/streaming). 

 

Route Firmware: V1.2.0.74_1.0.1

Smart Connect is enabled. 

Most all settings are automatic (channel, DNS)

I use most apple products. Smaller apt, tried switching channels after searching for least used ones, and the dropping was still occurring. 

 

Sorry, it is a bit above my pay grade, not sure what else to include or if this has already been answered. I cannot seem to find a solution to my problem and figured I would start here before dropping more money into a new router. 

 

Any direction would help. Thanks.

    Have you tried to disable Smart Connect to see if that changes the drops?

      Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I have disable Smart Connect. Tried placing different devices/combinations on both bans. I've done multiple factory resets. Made sure to test wired connections during drops, modem was still online. Not sure what would be left to try. Only 7 months old, would hate to have to throw money at a new router.
