Readyshare Set Up on Mac

Hello,

I'm trying to set up Readyshare on my Nighthawk 1900 model #C7000, firmware version V1.01.33. Using Netgear Genie App and with a Sandisk Cruzer USB drive plugged in, I navigate to the ReadySHARE tab but the USB is not showing up in the Available Network Folders. I try to Create Network Folder but get failure message "Duplicate Folder. There is an existed share name point to the same foolder."

Mac OS 10.11.6 El Capitan on 17" MB Pro

Can anyone tell me how to get readyshare to work please?

Thanks,

spesh

Re: Readyshare Set Up on Mac

Following up on my own post above. Many thanks to Camden Moore and his YouTube video "How to setup Netgear ReadyShare (Simple)". By reformattng my Sandisk Cruzer 32gb USB drive to a Master Boot Record in MS-DOS (FAT) format via Disk Utility (yes, I'm on MB Pro's), I can now share on my LAN.

HOWEVER, the USB drive still does not show up in the Netgear Genie app as an Available Network Folder. So, I can't customize access. Hey Netgear, any help would be appreciated?!?

Thanks,

spesh
