Why in this day and age that my router has to be rebooted every 3 days.

I noticed that my router shows R6700 “V3” now.
Ever since the change it hasn’t dropped connections.

Why?  Good question.  None of my devices require this.

When did the router last work?  (not have to be restarted every 3 days)...  what's changed?

Please tell us the model of your router R6700 with version (if applicable) and what FW version it is running.  When was it last updated and how was the update performed?

You can also provide information about the modem (or device) in front of the Nighthawk if you like.

what reason are you rebooting it for?

What modem is it connected to? 

The more info you tell us, the better we can help. Minimal info doesn't let us help much.

I agree that a router should never need rebooting. 

In order to help we need more information.

What version of firmware is on the router, number not something like latest which might not be true when someone is reading this. 

Importantly why are you rebooting the router?
