Reserve IP for printer with static IP

My printer has a static IP configured in the device itself, and it is outside the range of the router's DHCP addresses. Is there any benefit to ALSO adding the printer's IP address to the router's IP reservation list?

I don't see what that benefit might be.
Using DCHP and reserved addresses lets you do all the management in
one place, but configuring devices with static (non-pool) addresses gets
the same effect. In this case, if the printer will never ask for an
address from a DHCP server, and no other device will ever get that
(non-pool) address from your router's DHCP server, then I see no point
to such an address reservation.
I'd also expect it to be harmless, except that at some future time,
someone might see that reservation, believe that it has some purpose or
effect, and expect to achieve some result by changing it. In short,
it'd be more confusing than useful.
