Router able to have wired connection, but wireless network is not visible on list of networks
I have Nighthawk Router, everything was fine until last night. Everything in my house stopped having a connection to the wifi (TV's, laptops, ipads, google home) and I am unable to locate the network on the list of networks. I have the genie downloaded on my desktop (HP w2207h) and a wired connection to the router and the internet connection is good. On my router, the WPS button and the WIFi On/Off button are illuminated. I have reset my router, reset my modem, with no luck. Any help is much appreciated.
Re: Router able to have wired connection, but wireless network is not visible on list of networks
Open up Genie by logging into your router and look at the WIRELESS page. Are the SSID's being BROADCAST? "Enable SSID Broadcast" should be checked. That page will also show the SSID names.
Also, do the wireless devices see ANY SSID's?
Did ANYTHING change? A f/w update maybe? A Router RESET?
What version of f/w are you running?
If on Windows, get Acrylic (https://www.acrylicwifi.com/en/downloads-free-license-wifi-wireless-network-software-tools/download-...) on a PC that is WIRELESS and does it see your SSID's?
