Router firm Ware recovery model R6900P
Hello
I am using Windows 10, I was updating the firmware on my router a R6900P Night Hawk AC1900. when a 2nd party reset and turn off the router. More then likly the Bios or firmware was corrupted.
The question is how do I corrected, replace it or upload a new version?
what is the best version for this modem?
Thank you for any advice or suggestions.

Re: Router firm Ware recovery model R6900P
I'd highly recommend any firmware updates be done over a hardwired connection.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash

1.4gig download/50mbps upload
