Hello, I own a netgrear Wifi Cable modem router (AC1900) . Yesterday, there was a power surge in the area. Power switched back on within seconds. Post that router is unable to lock to the signals from the service provider. The device can be powered on, downstream, upstream lights in the device are not indicating anyhting.
I tried out the follwoing
- Hard reset button on the back
- Plugged out the coax cable, rest the netgear device
None of these methods helped. The connection from ISP is up and running.
Since, I went to the ISP office bought in a different wifi-router+modem plugged it in everthing is working fine now.
