S350 Vlan untagging issue
Hello,
I am new to this community. Recently bought
S350 Series 8-Port Gigabit PoE+ Ethernet Smart Managed Pro Switch with 2 SFP Ports |
It works great and stable. However, I am having issue with VLAN untagging. My setup:
Port 8 --> Trunk tagged VLAN 20
Port 6 --> Accesspoint tagged VLAN 20
Port 1 --> Wired connected untagged VLAN20
The AP works great as I can configure VLAN 20 and map to a SSID which works and clients are able to get IP from DHCP on that VLAN
Now my use case is that I want to connect a device that is not VLAN aware hence I want to untag it and have it to connect to same VLAN 20. This is not working but when I have it untag via VLAN1, it is able to connect to it without issues. Is there anything I am missing here? Thanks in advance.

Re: S350 Vlan untagging issue
Assume you talk of port #1 here:
- Ensure no other VLAN is untagged on port #1, and
- Put up PVID 20 on the port #1, this does define the VLAN where untagged incoming frames are assigned to.
