Re: SSID name change problem

You've got your channel set on a dfs channel.

when you change the ssid, make sure to have the 5ghz channel set on a non-dfs channel.

Re: SSID name change problem

what router do you have?

You didn't include much info in that picture.

depending on the router, you might need to change you "up to...." speed so you can use the standard 80hz wide channels.

Re: SSID name change problem

Your region has quite a bit of restrictions on 5ghz.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels

what happens if you set your "up to1300mbps" speed down?

Re: SSID name change problem

Is there a UK region in the region settings? (north america ones are locked down so I can't check)

If so, the UK 5ghz is quite higher than the EU requirements. Better range/penetration from 5ghz with more power.

Re: SSID name change problem

it is already set to up to 1300

and no option from UK

Re: SSID name change problem

I understand its already set to up to 1300.

I'm saying set it to a lower level. At 1300mbps, its broadcasting on 80hz wide channels.

Maybe your region sets restrictions that the 80hz wide has to be on the dfs channels.

I don't know your region so its more of a challenge

Re: SSID name change problem

You could try downgrading the firmware a version or 2 and see if was a problem with a firmware upgrade.
