Serial Number is already registered in our database

Hello.

I just purchased this Netgear Nighthawk RAX80 router off of Amazon and when I try registering it to my account,

it's telling me 'Serial Number is already registered in our database.' 

Please assist asap.

I've got the same issue with a Nighthawk R9000.  I put in a request to have the old info expunged from their database but still waiting around 10 days later for an update...

it comes down to this: 

Send email to customer.service@netgear.com with:

  • the subject line "Problem with my.netgear.com"
  • the description of the issue you are experiencing
  • your full name and contact information
