Slow and inconsistent 2.4 and 5Ghz speeds with R7000P

I have tried every trick in the book to squeeze as much speed from the router as I could for my PC, but I have had no luck.

I have:

• Rebooted the modem multiple times
• Ran many many speed tests
• contacted support about five times now
• updated my computer's WiFi drivers
• reset the router itself and reconfigured it after the firmware update.

No matter what I do, I cannot push my computer's WiFi on the 5GHz connection to go beyond 30-50 Mbps AT ALL.  And for someone who is a twitch streamer and a regular gamer, this is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

The only problem I have is the download speed, as updating my computer's wifi drivers has given me an actual upload speed that I can measure.  I want to have my computer operate in an environment where it gets at least 200Mbps as the internet connection itself is 400d/20u.  I play VR.  I shouldn't have to deal with this bullcrap.

1. What modem/gateway do you have? 

2. What firmware is on the router? 

3. what actual wireless chipset are you testing on? 
4. do all of your 5ghz devices have an issue or just the computer? 

also, fyi, we're not netgear. We're the public support forum. We understand frustration with netgear but we aren't them.
