Smart Connect won't turn on

When I try to turn on Smart Connect I get an error message I have different settings for 2.4 & 5. Well I look at the SID and the passwords and they are the same so I click apply. It changes the settings but then the 5GHZ is grayed out in the box with a check mark and when I check my iPhone 5ghz is not showing up on it or any of my devices.

Which router model? Which firmware version?

Also, Smart Connect on NG routers is fundamentally broken and causes only issues. Most keep it disabled
