Somehow my security questions and password has changed?

Hello,

Not logged into the hub for a while. Internet goes off so i turn the box on and off. the download speed was non-existent so i tried to log on but the password which i wrote down wasn't working. I went through the process to change my password and put in the serial key for the box etc,.

The security questions were 'what was your first netgear product' - XR500 (only thing from netgear i have ever bought)

and what is your youngest brothers name - I only have one brother.

The answers to both are easy as there is only 1 answer for each but it says that they are wrong.

Means that i cant change the password at all to check the hub.

Ive done extensive work to the hybrid vpn and would rather not do a factory reset.

Why and how could this of happened?

I am the only one with the details and access.

The problem with the password recovery is that if you didn't setup the recovery process, it still asks the questions. But there isn't a right answer. So it doesn't work. 

So basically if you didn't set it up or the answers aren't correct, then a reset is probably your only way back in.
