Re: Specifics of VPN on Nighthawk?

I currently have a home VPN set up with native Mac OS X (not server) and clients on my portable macs & iPhones, using L2TP & a shared secret. This is using "off the shelf" parts of each OS. I use port forwarding on my R8000 to send the requests to a specific machine.
Does the Netgear VPN get me anything I don't have now? It would be nice if IT were the VPN server that gave me access to the network so I didn't need a server running on my Mac, but I don't see that hidden in the documentation.
Thanks for any light anyone can shed!

Re: Specifics of VPN on Nighthawk?
Thanks @THE Ether,
I had read some of the info, but now read it more carefully. I guess I have two problems with using it:
1) No client software for iOS
2) I can't keep my current client setup using native OS X.... I'd have to setup new software.
If something's working I won't mess with it, I had just been hoping to be easily able to replace only the server piece, using the Nighthawk.
Status quo for me.
