Speed test on Nighthawk router
I have the current Genie installed. Using the netgear speed test, I get 12.46 kbps but the speedtest.net gives me 30.61 Mbps This is a difference of 2, 457%. Could the labelling on the genie site be incorrect; that is the speed shown in Kbps should actually be mbps. Even if that were so, the difference is still 245%. my measurements were taken at the same time with the same hardware setup. How can these huge differences be explained.?

Which Genie are we talking about, Desktop, Wireless, iOS or Android?
Hard to explain as I don't know what is the device, network adapter, or even if wireless (which I suspect) the band you are on, nor any Troubleshooting you might have done.
Assuming it is wireless, does it happen on both bands?
Did it work fine before? If so, have you just updated the firmware?
Do you have any other PC's or devices to test with? If so, are the results the same?
What are your Wireless settings, channel, security type, etc.
Speed test within Genie?
