Switch Advice for Gaming and Home Office

I need advice on a switch model for a home office that also has my gaming PC. My house is wired for Gigabit ethernet. I don't need anything higher right now. The devices I would be connecting to start would be:

  • Gaming PC
  • Work PC
  • Network Printer

I looked at the Nighthawk series for the gaming aspects, but they seem to be sold out. Have they been discontinued? Are the "regular" switches suitable for gaming?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Switch Advice for Gaming and Home Office

A dumb switch is a dumb switch is a dumb switch. They're virtually all the same and are suited for many tasks, including gaming.
