I tried to install the Ready SHARE Printer MAC V2.36 software for MAC (10.12.5):
- Uncompress the ReadySHARE USB Printer MAC_V2.36.zip file
- Uncompress the ReadySHARE USB Printer MAC_V2.36.rar file
- Open 2.36 folder
- Execute NETGEAR USB Control Center Installer.dmg file
- Then try to execute: “NETGEAR USB Control Center Installer.app”
The following error pops up : The application “NETGEAR USB Control Center Installer.app” can’t be opened.

Hello,
apologies for perhaps stating the obvious, but it might be that your issue is because of the macos Gatekeeper (see: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491).
=> Did you try to Control-Click the app, and then selecting "Open" from the pop-up menu?
(The short of it: To protect you from executing downloaded content by accident, macos requires to explicitly acknowledge it the first time you open it. This is done by:
- In Finder, Control-click or right click the icon of the app.
- Select Open from the top of contextual menu that appears.
(apologies for late posting, but I only just joined…)
it would be great if this was of help -- and otherwise, please forgive the "noise".
