I am unable to login to Routerlogin.net on my new CM1100 Netgear Cable Modem. I have tried to use admin user and password for password, it does not authenticate correctly and complains for bad password. Also, n devices connected on it get any DHCP address or dns, so i wonder what’s wrong or What am I doing wrong?

I am unable to get any DHCP services on any device such as laptop connected directly to the router.

   First, you're diverting an existing thread with an unrelated problem,
instead of starting your own thread for your own problem.

   Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.

   The CM1100 is a "Modem", not a router.  For multiple client devices,
you need a (NAT) router.

   "the router"?  You don't have a router.  You have a modem.

You need to be able to log into the router to update the firmware.

How are you trying to log in? Have you tried http://192.168.1.1 ?

Do NOT use phones and apps to manage the router! Use a PC hardwired and go to http://192.168.1.1

This doesn't look to me like a Mac but an iPhone/Android phone. Use a real browser on a REAL computer

I am trying to update the firmware for my router but when I upload the file, it says incorrect file. I have tried auto update as well, it won't work.

The router will not connect to the internet during setup. I have rebooted the modem and router several times and followed setup instructions using the Nighthawk App.  I must use advanced setup for PPOE with ISP furnished user name and password.  The ISP was able to confirm the network up to the router.

Registering a used router does not get you anything. Better to just ignore that and get on with install and configure. Since used there will not be any support unless you pay for it. If you have questions post here as there is usually someone who has seen your issue before.

I have google fiber. Bought Orbi RBK50 to get better WiFi. I turned off google fiber WiFi. The question is...to I leave orbi in router mode or AP mode?
I am not getting the performance I thought I would

How can i  go to my routerlogin net to  manage my router and I did something and my internet light staying orange and I have no internet   however it sats i must login to my private internet to access my account
