Recently i have been having a ton of trouble when trying to connect to online gaming, specifically when trying to find a match (Call of Duty Warzone). I am connected to the internet, have great speeds and have never had this issue until about 5 days ago. It appears to be an issue with either UPnP settings or restrictive NAT settings.
Couple details:
-Wired in via powerlining (problem persists even on a wireless connection so i know it is not a powerlining issue)
-I have gone through proper steps of using the router login page to turn off UPnP, reset everything, and then turn UPnP back on and reset everything
-I have tried to port forward all ports defined on xbox website
Part of me thinks a recent firmware update for the router is causing this (i read in other posts from years back that this was an issue) however i cannot find any sort of history of when my router was last updated since i have it on auto update.
Anyone else recently running into this issue or have any suggestions?
