USB Drive problem
I am using WD my passport ultra 2 TB portable drive with R8000 and it disappears from time to time(a week or so), it requires router reboot for drive to reappear.
I am using the latest official firmware.
Anyone else has the same problem?

Re: USB Drive problem
I had a lot of issues with my USB 3.0 Seagate 5TB disappearing from the DLNA. The cure was a better shielded cable with gold connections and getting the drive away from the router, 2' in my case and on the other side of my BR player.

Re: USB Drive problem
Have you tried using a different USB drive? What is the file format?

Re: USB Drive problem
Does it disappear from the DLNA or the networked drive or both?

Re: USB Drive problem
Is this the USB 3.0 or 2.0? The reason I ask is I had a doc that with the stock cable kept on causing it to drop out on one computer but not another. What it did on the troubled connection is the system kept dropping it down to 2.0 speeds from 3.0 speeds on its own, even idle.
If it is the 3.0 try a new cable, if no new cable try it in the 2.0 slot (where it cant switch speeds).
