Unable to Uninstall Netgear Genie 2.4.42 App from Mac OS 10.11.6
Unable to Uninstall Netgear Genie 2.4.42 App from Mac OS 10.11.6
I've tried the typical method of dragging it to the trash. Doesn't work.
Can't find an uninstall script or app on the netgear site, so far.
Thanks in advance for any wisdom anyone can provide.

Re: Unable to Uninstall Netgear Genie 2.4.42 App from Mac OS 10.11.6
Thanks for the link.
I gave that MacUpdate page a long look, and even looked on other related pages. I didn't discover anything useful. Didn't find an unistall app. Found the official users' manuall there, but discovered nothing useful in the manual. I tried upgrading to the current version, then tried uninstalling that. No joy.
Haven't found any description for uninstalling using terminal, though I'm certain that's possible. I'm told it's a bit dangerous to ununstall apps, using terminal, without adequate knowledge. This seems like the sort of app that might be likely to hook more deeply into the system than many. I can only guess. I suspect my knowledge is inadequate, without a guide.
I'm quite baffled by the fact that there's no apparent, straightforward way to do this!
