Unable to connect any device at 5GHz to AC1750/R6700 Router with V1.0.0.26_10.0.26 firmware. I've tried different channels but still no luck. I've tried to connect using my iPhone 6, Dell laptop, Apple Mac Air, Samsung TV, etc. Nothing works. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to resolve this issue?

Hi br2628,
1. Reset the router to factory default.
2. If still the same, try this firmware

Re: Unable to connect any device at 5GHz to AC1750/R6700 Router
I backleveled the firmware to v1.0.0.24_10.0.18 and now all devices can connect to 5g on the router. Thanks for your help!
Strange that newer firmware doesn't work. NETGEAR should be updating the lastest version of firmware to allow devices to connect at 5g.
Thanks again,
Bob

Some 5g channels aren't available in some regions. Do you remember the channel, is it the same?

Re: Unable to connect any device at 5GHz to AC1750/R6700 Router
I'm using channel 153. I believe the problem started when I updated the firmware a while ago. When I was troubleshooting this issue, changing the channel had no affect.

Hi br2628,
If you are still using the previous firmware, which is working, try to load the latest firmware and reset the router.
