Unable to detect product

Netgear nighthawk log in
I paused the Amazon firestick in one of the bedrooms using the nighthawk app. Now, I’m still connected to the internet, but My phone nor my iPad, using the nighthawk app can detect my router so that I can login and unpause the firestick. My house is a mess now and we can’t watch Tv. 3 days now.

1. I open Nighthawk Netgear APP from Apple store
2. Initial screen opens, but is searching for router
3. Unable to detect product.
4. Attempt to connect manually
5.unable to detect product.
6. Scans the little square barcode/picture using camera phone to manually connect to router...INVALID DEVICE MESSAGE.
7. Uninstalled everything, unplugged everything, started from scratch, STILL UNABLE TO DETECT PRODUCT.
8. I still have WiFi connection from an UNDETECTABLE router.


Problem : I need to sign in to the router, so that I may unpause a device on my list. I cannot sign in, because my router is undetectable. I even tried http://router login.net from my laptop which was WiFi and etherneted in. How do I gain access to my admin to unpause a device?

Hello jhcarriere1, 

 

May you reinstall the Nighthawk app and power cycle your router. I would recommend checking if local network access is on. I've included an article below. You may also try accessing the Nighthawk app using a different mobile device.
