Unable to log in after updating firmware

Hello,

I just upgrade the firmware on my R8000, did a factory reset and I am now unable to log into the router with Username: admin Password: password

I have tried resetting to factory default several times and still nothing. My internet works, but thats it, Genie connects, but will not let me administer the router as it is saying the password is incorrect.

Thoughts/Suggestions?

after about 1 hour and 10 factory resets, i unplugged the router from the modem and all other connections I was able to log in...
