Upgrade netwerk to mesh system
Nevertheless the WiFi does not cover every area.
How to upgrade to mesh system?
A. Using the R7800 as router only and connect 2 or 3 mesh satellites.
B. Replacing both R7800 as well as R7000, with a complete new mesh system.
WiFi speed is not the issue. It's coverage what I need due to signal loss through walls and floors.
Please advise!
Thank you in advance.

Mesh in itself isn't designed to extend the area of your wifi. (There are limits to the wifi strength that any source is allowed to churn out.) The point of mesh is to let you wander around the place with wifi clients that happily move from one wifi source to another using the same SSID.
To get mesh to cover a larger area, you will have to add satellites to reach bits that need wifi.
I have an R7800 as the source of an Orbi mesh system that operates in AP mode. Works fine.
Try plugging your needs into the filters on the product pages:

Then check back here for reports on the things you are considering, but remember that people turn up in this community with problems, not compliments. So look at reviews on Amazon, for example.
