Upgraded my firmware to 1.4.1.66 and unable to connect to nighthawk app on android

Hi,

I got an alert on my nighthawk app for upgrade and accordingly upgraded the firmware to 1.4.1.66. Now, i am unable to connect through nighthawk app... I tried resetting the password, rebooting the device multiple times, but no change in the behavior.. The app was working well before upgrade, but after firmware upgrade no longer able connect.

Are there any known issues with the upgrade. Do i need to reset the firmware to 1.4.1.64.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

It's definitely the v1.4.1.66 firmware. I had the exact same issue! I had to directly connect to the router in order to downgrade back to v1.4.1.64. Everything is back to normal after going back to the .64 version.

Does the router work for everything else? Just not accessible via the app?

I am not able to connect through Nightawk app... The router is working and I am able to connect through Web browser.

did you try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it?

Yes, I tried multiple times uninstalling the app, cleared app cache, app data.

what gateway do you have?

I have R7900 P router.

What gateway? not router. Gateway/modem. Whats the router connected to

The router is connected to verizon fios gateway. No modem or router are in between

which fios gateway? 

Many have their own integrated router with the ont.
