Upgraded my router and cannot find a way to change my wireless password

Hi everyone! Just upgraded from my previous Netgear WiFi Router and want to change the login password so it is the same as my previous router. Any suggestions please?

Thank you in advance.

Go to http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 and change whatever you want

Manuals are always a good place to start.

Visit the support pages:

Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

That page will also have any software, firmware and drivers for your device, if they exist.

Look for the model number on the label on the device.

Check the section in the manual Specify Basic WiFi Settings.

There may also be some helpful videos on what to do.

You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

   Firmware version?

Should anyone here know anything about it?

What, exactly, does "the login password" mean to you?  The password
for "admin" when using the router's management web site, or something
else?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.  Look for
topics like "Types of Logins", "Basic Wireless Settings", "Change the
admin Password", and "Reset".  Further reading might not hurt, either.

Sure, _if_ that's actually the "password" which you want to change.
