I noticed that the day after applying the latest firmware my router there were several Wi-Fi related issues:
1. The printer stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi
2. Wi-Fi connection was much slower than usual- <18mbps vs usual >99mbps
3. Attached devices list doesn't show any Wi-Fi devices
Switching off the wireless schedule and rebooting solved this problem, but it is a feature I would like to use for stopping my kids from using their devices at night and reducing the amount of radio waves in my home when not in use.
What's the best way of raising a defect ticket for the firmware developers to fix this?

Hi nerdy-dude,
Have you tried to reset the router after firmware update and reconfigure it manually?

Re: V1.0.9.28_10.2.32 firmware breaks Wi-Fi when wireless schedule is on
.Reconfigured and downloaded V1.0.9.28_10.2.32 from 1.0.7.something. Switching from Comcast to Century Link.
Set AP Mode, changed SSID and password. Using both 2.4 and 5G. Wasn't using AP before, but need it now with the switch to Century Link.
Problem. Both Nighthawks now drop radio on a one to two minute interval, and stay down for about 5 seconds. I see this in both the usage with Fire TV, and with WiFi Analyzer, and app on Android.
I tried the 1.0.9.30_10.2.33 suggested for previous complaints, without effect.
This is true for two Nighthawks. MAC addresses are 10:DA:43:7E:A2:0E, and E4:F4:C6:0A:0A:5C. Help please!

Is 1.0.7.something still available someplace?
Perhaps I should try it before any other 'fixes'.

Re: V1.0.9.28_10.2.32 firmware breaks Wi-Fi when wireless schedule is on
I'm back after a downgrade of the firmware. I went back to V1.0.7.2_1.1.93.
It fixed (well sort of) the problem with 5G dropping out on a one to two minute cycle.
But, it only fixed one of the R7000's. The one with MAC E4:F4:C6:0A:0A:5C is broadcasting without problems on 2.4 and 5G.
The other R7000 with MAC 10:DA:43:7E:A2:0E is broadcasting fine on 2.4, and cannot be seen on the 5G channels.
I tried three different WiFi Analyzers, and have consistent results.
Most frustrating! Derick
