VoIP Audio Issue - Muffled talk

Folks that the other end are telling me my audio voice is muffled. This started when I upgraded to the R8000. My previous Netgear did not have this issue. Any suggestions?

Is there VoIP a device? What is it? Try using the DMZ on the router after reserving the IP address for this VoIP device, then input this IP address into the routers DMZ..

It could be rf interference from router or from cordless phone to router. Also could be client card in PC if using cordless phone and 5g AC. I cannot use cordless phone while downloading and talking on the phone within several feet of laptop, 5g @1300 uses 4 channels and I suspect the phone cannot locate a clear enough channel. Seeing how it's router related I doubt it's upstream noise But noisy return in cable plant can also cause a high BER which will garble voice.

Problem resolved. It was interference from another wireless transmitter.
