Wanting to know if I should get another Orbi rbk850 or netgear eax80

I wanted to see what would be the best route to go for getting my internet to cover my house. I live in a 4 story townhome that’s about 2000sqft and don’t get good connection on the 4th floor. What would be the better option? I have my base Orbi on the first floor and satellite in the basement. Which the basement gets iffy coverage currently.

What materials is your home made from? Certain materials block wifi better than others.

If you're wondering which is going to have better performance, then I'd get another satellite for the orbi. The EAX80 is only a dual band device versus the orbi is triband with the dedicated backhaul

House is made of wood with drywall. Which is why I didn’t think I’d be having this issue compared to say cement or brick

if the satellite is only 1 floor away, try moving it around. maybe hvac in the floors could be causing issues.

30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
