Weak Security warning

When checking the WiFi settings on my mobile phone, I get the following warning message:

Weak Security.  WPA/WPA2 (TKIP) is not considered secure. Configure the router to use WPA2 (AES) or WPA3 security type.

Reading on the internet, it appears that the TKIP security protocol is indeed weak and superceded by AES.

I have logged into my account ant carried out an update, but still get this warning.

I find it hard to believe that a known brand is supplied with a security protocol that is weak and if so, then that is a real concern, since many of us are no doubt working from home now.

Can anyone suggest a way forwards to solving this issue?

Thank you.

You should be able to set the router to WPA2 security type.
