What does Firmware Version 1.3.3.142 - Hot Fix correct in R7000P Router?  There is no documentation about what the specific vulnerabilities addressed by the firmware is.  I couldn't find anything in the knowledge base either.

Thanks but already saw that. The way it is organized it is not very helpful. They should include for each specific firmware release notes the security vulnerabilities and bugs fixed per router model. How I can easily get all the vulnerabilities for R7000P and easily determine what firmware addresses them.

Also the latest hot fix or firmware release notes just says
Security Fixes:
Fixes security vulnerabilities.
With url to a page with all vulnerabilities listed but not organized by product.

Netgear doesn'lt do detailed release notes.

The logic behind not saying too much about security issues seems to be that listing them would leave the door open to crooks to find ways to break into devices that haven't been updated.

If you feel up to it, Netgear posts a steady stream of security issues and the devices they affect. You just have to piece it all together.
