When I open a port, It does not show up in the open ports menu

I open a port it does not show up in the "Port Forwarding" menu, but when i attempt to open it a second time it claims the port is already open.  The port forward seems to be working fine, but i am unable to close it now.  My only option seems to be a factory reset to close the ports, but why is it doing this??  I tried to restarting to no avail

It was super annoying to redo all my settings, but resetting the router by holding down the reset buttun until the power LED blinked fixed it.
