WiFi keeps cutting out (R7000P)
Hey guys, I really need some help. I’ll try and get all the details I can out of the way right now:
WiFi provider: Spectrum
Spectrum Modem: E31U2V1
Nighthawk Router: R7000P
Router Firmware: V1.3.1.64_10.1.36
(If you need any other information please let me know)
So, the problem is: The WiFi keeps cutting out. Both 2.4 and 5 connections, at random intervals, for random periods of time. Sometimes it cuts out for 1-5 minutes. Sometimes for 15+. When this happens, the first two LEDs turn Orange/red. The 2.4/5 LEDs still blink rapidly with white. Can anyone please tell me what to do here?

The app won’t let me update, is there a way I can update outside the app?

It is all in the manual.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
You will also find newer firmware there. The release notes explain how to update.
Check the section in the manual on updating the firmware.
