Will ReadyShare Vault back up network mapped drives?

I'm trying to back up files on a ReadyNAS Duo v1 storage device. I have the drive mapped to a drive on my Win10 laptop (drive MSmiley Happy. I can't attach the USB directly to the NAS; the Duo doesn't support 4TB drives. (It's using twin 2TB drives running in RAID 0.) I was hoping to back it up through the Win10 laptop and the Nighthawk with an attached 4TB USB drive, using ReadyShare Vault.

It does not appear that ReadyShare Vault will back up network mapped drives. Is that true, or is there a way to do that I'm not seeing? I am successfully backing up files from my Windows 10 laptop, but it is NOT backing up anything from my mapped network drives.

Is there a way to make this happen?

My guess is that you will get better feedback in the ReadyNAS section of this forum:

Well, it's a router issue, either hardware or ReadyShare Vault, not a NAS issue. The same would hold true for any other brand of NAS, I'm sure.

I'd be glad to cross-post, but most forums frown on that.
