Re: Working with Centurylink ONT

I've been having trouble getting an internet signal to my R6220 from my CenturyLink fiber account.  This is a new installation with no existing modem to obtain PPPoE credentials from.  Has anyone successfully used an R6220 directly hooked to the ONT?

   Ask your ISP?

A quick Web search suggests that CenturyLink may use a VLANID on the
WAN.  Whether the R6220 allows you to specify one is not clear.  My
quick look at the R6220 User Manual found nothing relevant.

Re: Working with Centurylink ONT

I've called my ISP many times.  They've always told that my region only does IPoE for fiber, not PPPoE.  I've asked them to create credentials and manually enter them so I can match them to have my router's info reconcile with theirs and no dice.

Then what leads you to believe that you need PPPoE credentials?
