I am trying to setup this damn router and I keep getting this prompt that says the ethernet cable is not connected but it sure as heck is! Everything lights up, my mac connects to it but the browser says I am not connected... I'm about to throw this thing up against the wall. But it was too frickin expensive! Can't get support because it was used! Any help out there?

   Which part of it "sure as heck is" "connected" to _what_?

   Define "Everything".  Color and activity of the lighted "Everything"?

   With an information-free problem description like this, I wouldn't
depend on getting much.

 

   Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read.
