Xbox NAT is set to Strict or Moderate why playing online.

I have the CAX80 Modem and wifi combo and I found this help link on netgears website.

So my question is, can I skip 1-4? Since I have the combo Modem and Wifi unit.

Yes you can leave uPnP enabled and you don't need to set up any Port Forwarding or Triggering. 

You should be getting OPEN NAT if you connect just 1 xbox to the modem. How mine works.
