My android phone shows only the 2G but the message is "Connected - no Internet." Does not show the 5G channel . I.e., I can't get onto the Internet, but I know it is working.
My iPod shows and connects on the 5G and works fine, but doesn't show the 2G channel.
What should I do?
Thanks.

the T-Mobile REVVL is a single band phone. It won't be able to use the 5ghz.
Have you tried a reboot or factory reset to fix the "connected, no internet"?
If you hardwire into the device, you can get a screen snip of the cable connection page showing the connection back to the isp and post it back here.

Re: ac1750 showing "Connected - no internet connection"
1. Which android phone? Some devices are only single band and not dual band.
2. you can hardwire a pc/laptop into the C6300 to check settings, cable connection, etc.
3. When the ipod connects, it has internet fine?
4. What speeds do you pay for? What speeds do you get hardwiring into the c6300?

Answers in blue:
1. Which android phone? T-Mobile REVVL Some devices are only single band and not dual band. The phone worked, for years, but now it won't work. When I go to Wi-Fi it only shows the 2G as "Connected - No Internet" (while I am looking at the Internet on my iPod), and it simply doesn't show the 5G, but it used to and has for years.
2. you can hardwire a pc/laptop into the C6300 to check settings, cable connection, etc. It is hard wired to the computer.
3. When the ipod connects, it has internet fine? Yes
4. What speeds do you pay for? What speeds do you get hardwiring into the c6300? I don't know. I'm doing this for a friend and trying to find out if it is the problem (I suspect it is) of the AC1750 router.
