Re: can I make my router faster in configuration
Well what speeds are you getting
hardwired?
Wireless 5ghz?
What modem is it connected to?
What speeds do you get directly connected to the modem.

Re: can I make my router faster in configuration
wifi won't hit 1 gig speeds.
2.4ghz is slow and if you're hitting 144mbps over 2.4ghz, you're doing amazing. My area struggles to average 30-40mbps (can hit peaks of 90mbps but not sustained) due to interference
try the 5ghz.
