Does anyone know how many concurrent connections the Netgear routers can handle over wifi? Particularly the R8000p or the R7000 series, and I understand the whole thing about each connection devides the bandwith. Most of my 2.4ghz devices are light bulbs, door locks, Alexas ect. very low bandwidth devices. But over 65 of them in total in my house. I also see some newer models have dual 5ghz bands, but the majority of my lightbulbs and devices can only do 2.4. I have an Asus darknight now and I believe it is crashing often from to many connected devices. I want to make sure before I buy a new router that it can handle the work load with room to grow as I buy more devices. And when you have devices like door locks, security cams and lightbulbs controlled by wifi losing a connection is very inconvienent. I don't understand why all the router manufacturers refuse to publish this information.
