help finding if ports are enabled Nighthawk AC2300 Smart WiFi Router Model R7000P

I'm trying to set up a network extender for my cell phone. They (Verizon) is asking if my router is: (1) Quality of Service is enabled or supported and (2) make sure following ports are enabled: 123 UDP, 4500 UDP, 500 UDP 53 TCP/UDP, 52428 TCP/UDP. I have no idea what this means or where to even locate this information. Is there anyone out there that can simply tell me where to exactly locate this information? Thanks in advance.

Firmware version?  Connected to what?  ISP?  Modem?

Not a very detailed description of anything.  And what happens when
you are "trying" whatever you're actually doing, with whatever it might
be?  Is there some actual problem which you are trying to solve?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Read.  Look for "Quality of
Service.

I don't know what "ports are enabled" means.  Normally, on a router,
no ports are _disabled_.  Perhaps there's some documentation for your
(unspecified) "a network extender for my cell phone" which would explain
this more clearly, but I don't know where to look for what.

lol I'm glad I'm not the only one lost. Someone will know what an extender is and that it connects to a router and how to oopen ports. but thanks anyway

Who do you expect will know what _your_ "an extender" is?

In my experience, people who talk about ports being "open" often
don't understand the problem.

With no information on what you're doing, or with what, or what
happens when you do it, or why you're unhappy, it's tough to offer much
specific advice.  But perhaps someone else will know exactly what to
tell you, based on no useful information.

I'm just typing the info Verizon gave me via Netgear. Thanks. I found an IT person who knew immediately how to help me resolve the issue. Thanks.
