iPhone app crashes when creating weblink for a picture.
Hi
I have a nighthawk router R7000 with attached USB harddirve. I back my iPhone media files to the hard drive. This works fine. Today however i have tried to create web link for file and the app has crushed. I have tried it few times and it always crashes. I have latest version of the app 1.5.9. I will select the picture>> create web link for file (accept all defaults)>> create >> spiinng wheel for few seconds then shuts down. I have iPhone7. Deleted app, installed again same issue.
Thanks

Hi twolak2003,
What app you were trying to use to create a weblink? Is it the ReadyCloud App?

Hi twolak2003,
What is the iOS version of your iPhone 7. I have iPhone 6s plus with 10.1.1 iOS version and it works.

Latest version 10.0.2. I also tried it with iPhone 6. Same issue so not limited to iPhone version.

Re: iPhone app crashes when creating weblink for a picture.
Hi twolak2003,
Please check the update for your iOS. There is a new version released which is 10.1.1. I have updated my iPhone SE to the latest version which was having an issue with detecting the drive using the app and now it works.

Re: iPhone app crashes when creating weblink for a picture.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have updated to latest iOS. Same issue however still here. 😞
I have tried this on my iPhone 6 plus with 10.0.2. It worked fine. Almost don't want to update to 10.1.1

Hi twolak2003,
Do you still have issues with the ReadyCloud App using your iPhone 7? If yes, make sure it is on the latest iOS version.

Thanks JamesGL.
I have latest iOS version. The app still crashes when generating the link. Don't think much else can be done with this.
