netgear nighthawk x10 r9000 wireless 2.4 not working

Started  with all down and 5 ghz was up and down for 15 minutes. The 
2.4 has red ex and not broadcasting at all . this router is 5 months old and I even updated the firmware to see if that would correct the issues nothing.
