I bought this router off of eBay I was listed a new looks new but you know how that goes hooked it up worked fine then 3 days later 5g wasn't working I reset the router from the button on the back no luck then I rebooted the router from the online router interface now 5g is working fine is this a common problem with this router by the way 2g is working fine software is version v1.0.4.122_10.0.95
i would like to know if this is a common problem I don't want to be rebooting my router all the time would rather send it back and get a better one
I know absolutely nothing about router settings or terms I'm more of a plug and play kind of guy tech minded but new to what routers do and all the settings
yep best to try a different firmware, once you find a stable one keep it on that and turn off the automatic firmware update. Do a hard reset after downgrading the firmware.
