opening port
I need to open up port 5858 on my router to get a wireless controller to work. Any ideas on how to do it? I have found somethings for port triggering but I do not think that is right.
Thanks in advance

Says who? What is this "a wireless controller"? How do you access
it locally (whatever it is)?
In my experience, people who talk about ports being "open" or
"closed" often don't understand the problem.

Swell. What things, where?
Depending on what "open up port 5858 on my router" means to you, I
might look for port forwarding in the router User Manual. (Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least).)
